Art Deco Platinum & Old-Cut Diamond Convertible Brooch

A striking Art Deco platinum and diamond convertible brooch, set throughout with 97 mixed-cut diamonds, predominantly old cuts.

Designed as two opposing scroll and fan motifs, encapsuling a wave. The piece captures the glamour and movement of early 20th century jewellery. The diamonds are arranged across sweeping platinum sections, with a mixture of pavé, claw and rubover-style settings, giving the brooch wonderful depth, texture and light.

The construction is particularly special. The two diamond-set sections detach from the brooch frame, allowing the jewel to be worn either as a full brooch or separately as a pair of dress clips - a beautifully versatile feature typical of fine Art Deco evening jewellery.

Measuring approximately 60mm x 24mm, with a maximum depth of 14mm, this is a sculptural and highly wearable period piece. Elegant, dramatic and rich with Deco character, it is the kind of jewel that feels as relevant on a modern black jacket as it would have on an evening gown nearly a century ago.
