Antique Platinum Sapphire & Diamond Ring (c. 1930)
Personalise your jewellery
Antique Platinum Sapphire and Diamond Ring, circa 1930, Size N and a Half
An authentic early twentieth century platinum ring set with a central sapphire and framed by diamonds. The ring carries a partial hallmark consistent with British platinum work from the 1930 period.
The sapphire sits in a neat rectangular setting and shows a deep blue tone with natural internal character. It is flanked and surrounded by small diamonds that add brightness without taking attention away from the centre stone. The arrangement has the crisp geometry associated with the late Art Deco years, with clean lines and a practical low profile.
The band is made in solid platinum with a smooth interior and a firm structure. The partial hallmark is worn but still visible and in keeping with pieces from this era. The ring sits comfortably on the finger and has a balanced presence typical of original 1930s designs rather than modern remakes.
In very good antique condition with secure stones and age related surface marks that reflect natural wear. Size N 1/2.
